MMSTS, LLC operates this website for the Ole Miss Beta Alumni Association. This policy explains what information we receive, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information we receive

We receive information you give us at association events, through this website, or when you contact us. This may include your name, email address, phone number, message, membership and giving selections, and the wording you request for an engraved brick. We also receive information you provide when you reply to an association communication.

When you use website forms, we keep the information submitted so we can handle your request. The site also uses technical information needed to operate, protect, and troubleshoot its services. If you pay online, payment card information is entered through Stripe checkout rather than our website form.

How we use information

We use information to respond to you; administer membership, events, giving, and house projects; arrange brick engraving; provide association news and updates; process or follow up on requests and payments; and operate and protect the website. We may contact you about information you submitted, including details needed to complete a brick inscription or giving request.

Text message privacy

If you agree to receive association texts, we use your mobile number and related messaging information to send MMSTS messages about association news, events, membership, Beta Connections, and house projects. We do not sell mobile numbers or share mobile information or text message opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Our texting provider and wireless carriers may process information needed to deliver messages.

You can reply STOP to an MMSTS message to stop future texts. Reply HELP for help, or call 662-816-5964. See our Terms and Conditions for message frequency and other program terms.

We share information with providers only as needed for association operations, such as website hosting, email or text delivery, and Stripe payment processing. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the association and its members. The Beta Connections community and phone app are operated by Mighty Networks; information you give directly to that service is subject to its own privacy practices.

Photos and captions published in our website gallery can be seen by site visitors. Please contact us if you have a concern about a published photo.

Keeping and protecting information

We keep information as needed to manage association activities, respond to requests, maintain records, and meet applicable obligations. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it, although no website or electronic communication can be guaranteed completely secure.
